The Boca Raton Bobcats challenge the Atlantic Eagles on Friday night at Atlantic Stadium. The Eagles have already clinched a share of the District 10-8A title and is likely to be placed as the top seed in Region 3.
Boca Raton(5-4, 2-2) come off an easy 41-0 shutout victory over John I. Leonard and have won two straight games. This will be their last regular season game and are unlikely to make the FHSAA playoffs.
The Bobcats offense is led by quarterback Michael Pratt, who can run the ball and pass it too. He intends to find wide receivers Rashawn Faustine, Lamar Dollar, Brandon Holcomb, Jared Moorer and Joseph Melhi down the field. They will split the handoffs with running backs Stalens Demeus and Davion Maxwell.
Atlantic(8-0, 5-0) is the only undefeated team in Palm Beach County besides Benjamin. The Eagles disposed of tough competition in the first four weeks of this season which included possible playoff schools Palm Beach Central, Dwyer, Pahokee and Park Vista.
The Eagles will rely on Kalani Ilimaleota at quarterback to guide their offense. He will look to connect passes to wide receivers Kam Williams, Tyrese Blue and Tyler Burke. Their defense is spearheaded by defensive lineman Henry Bryant along with defensive backs Kael Williams and Javone Jackson.
