The Deerfield Beach Bucks host the Monarch Knights at Butler Stadium on Friday night in a District 11-8A game. The Bucks must not look beyond this contest with the distict title on the line at Piper next week.
Monarch(3-4,1-3) is in last place in the district, however they have a 3-1 record outside of district play. The Knights were victorious in their first two regular season contests and enter this game having lost their last two games.
Deerfield Beach(7-1, 3-0) began the regular season with a six-game winning streak before they lost at home to St. Thomas Aquinas. They bounced back last week with a 21-6 victory over Marjory Stoneman Douglas. The Bucks have outscored their opponents 245-98 this year.
The first thing you look at on the Deerfield Beach offense is running back Jaylan Knighton. He will got the majority of handoffs from the backfield and can score on any play. The Bucks passing attack have Tyler Herring at quarterback and he can toss the ball to wide receivers Dashaun Davis, Deajaun McDougle, Bryce Gowdy and DeRohn King.
