The Cincinnati Bengals have let go running back Giovani Bernard. He has been with that team for his entire eight-year NFL career.
He was drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Bernard had 921 carries for 3,697 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns in 115 games.
Bernard had played high school football with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. He helped the school capture the FHSAA Class 5A state title and national championship in 2008. Bernard later attended the University of North Carolina.
