Miami Ratings March 2021

     The radio ratings for sports talk format radio stations in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale region were released. The time period went from the first week of March to the last week of March. The top two radio stations in the market saw there parent company change their name from Entercom Communications to Audacy at the end of the month.

     560 The Joe WQAM-AM was able to regain first place and they leaped from a 0.4 to a 0.6 in the period. The Florida Panthers continued their successful campaign while the University of Miami basketball team had a good showing at the ACC Tournament winning two games. 

     Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM remained at a 0.5 for the second straight month. The Miami Heat lost six straight games and still stayed in contention for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

     Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM went up from a 0.1 to a 0.2 in the month. The Miami Marlins had plenty of exhibition games along with the start of the 2021 baseball season. The University of Florida basketball team reached the NCAA Tournament.
