The Florida Panthers have signed goalie Spencer Knight to a three-year, entry-level contract. Knight was selected 13th overall in the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
Knight played for two seasons with the Boston College Eagles. He had a 16-4-1 record, .942 save percentage and 2.18 goals-against-average during the 2020-21 campaign. Knight helped the United States to the IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal in 2021 with and 5-1 record along with three shutouts.
