The Miami Heat squeezed by the Chicago Bulls 106-101 on Saturday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat returned home after a short two-game road trip.
Miami(32-29) blasted out to a 33-18 lead at the end of one quarter and had a 61-41 advantage at halftime. Chicago(25-35) outscored the Heat during the third quarter, but they still trailed 80-63.
Duncan Robinson had a club-high 23 points for Miami. Jimmy Butler contributed 20 points and eight assists while Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists. Kendrick Nunn was able to drop in 22 points.
Chicago just had two players with double-digit scoring. Nikola Vucevic put together 26 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double. Coby White poured in a game-high 32 points in the loss.
