Braves Avoid Sweep To Marlins

     The Miami Marlins fell to the Atlanta Braves 7-6 at Truist Park on Thursday. The Marlins, who finished off a six-game road swing. had a three-game winning streak snapped. 
     In the second inning, Miami(5-7) leaped to a 2-0 lead. Jon Berti doubled down the right-field line and Jazz Chisholm Jr. crossed the plate. Chad Wallach followed with a RBI-single through the left side and Berti scored. 
     It became a 3-0 lead for the Marlins during the third inning. Corey Dickerson drove in Wallach with a base hit into right field.
     Atlanta(5-8) closed the gap in the bottom of the fifth to 3-2. Ehire Adrianza led off with a single to left field. Ronald Acuna Jr. came up next and blasted a two-run homer to left field on the first pitch. 
     The Braves took their first lead 5-3 in the sixth inning. Pablo Sandoval smacked a pinch-hit home run to left field on the first pitch with Austin Riley and Guillermo Heredia aboard. 
     The Fish answered back quickly in the top of the seventh. Starling Marte began the frame with a solo home run to left field on a 0-1 count. 
     Miami came back in the top of the ninth with two runs to make it 6-5. Pinch-hitter Adam Duvall doubled into right-center field and Miguel Rojas reached home. Three batters later, Garrett Cooper lined a single to center field and Duvall scored 
     Atlanta loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth. Ozzie Albies walked and Enter Inciarte was able to score. Dansby Swanson then picked up a base hit to shallow left field and Acuna scored the winning run.
