Heat Buzzer Beater Tops Nets

     The Miami Heat edged the Brooklyn Nets 109-107 the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena on Sunday. Miami was able to snap a three-game losing streak. The Nets remain second in the Eastern Conference while the Heat stayed in seventh place. 
     Miami(29-28) had a slight 32-31 lead after one quarter and a 64-60 advantage at halftime. Brooklyn(38-19) stayed in the contest and trailed 86-84 at the end of three quarters. Bam Adebayo nailed a 13-foot jump shot with no time remaining in the fourth to win the game for the Heat. 
     Adebayo collected a double-double with a club-high 25 points and 15 rebounds for Miami. Goran Dragic contributed 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while Kendrick Nunn added 17 points. Trevor Ariza fell short of a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Recent Heat acquisition Dewayne Dedmon did have a double-double of 10 points along with 10 rebounds. 
     Kyrie Irving had 20 points and nine assists for the Nets. Landry Shamet came off the bench with 30 points and Joe Harris poured in 12 points.
