The Miami Heat handled the Portland Trail Blazers 107-98 on Sunday night. It was the beginning of a four-game road swing for the Heat.
Portland(31-21) had a 31-25 edge after one quarter, but Miami(27-25) overtook them in the second quarter to go up 56-48 at halftime. The Heat extended their lead to 89-71 at the end of three quarters.
Miami was led by Bam Adebayo with 22 points. Jimmy Butler dropped in 20 points while Kendrick Nunn poured in 15 points. Tyler Herro contributed 14 points.
Norman Powell and C.J. McCollum both had 17 points each for the Trail Blazers. Damian Lillard was able to score 12 points.
