The Dwyer Panthers and the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats will have to battle it out for a playoff spot in District 13-7A on Saturday. They will fight for the district runner-up spot should the Atlantic Eagles clinch the district title with a victory at home against Lake Worth on Friday night.
Dwyer(7-1, 4-1) come off a 37-0 shutout win over the Lake Worth Trojans last week. They rebounded from a 28-12 home loss to Atlantic in the previous week. Robert Nittolo looks like he has replaced Clay Meister as the starting quarterback of the team. He will a huge assortment of wide receivers to throw to which includes Johnnie Dixon, Clint Stephens and Ezra Saffold. The Panthers will split the handoffs to Alonso Smith, Courtney Lowery and Antonio Knowles.
Royal Palm Beach(5-2, 4-1) fell on the road against Atlantic 35-20 with first place at stake this past Monday. Running back Demarcus Hollaway will get most of runs out of the backfield along with Jake Wehrle. De'Andre Simmons leads the Wildcats defense and will try to stop the Dwyer offense that has many options.
