Boynton Beach native Kyle Cassandra is now part of the new ESPN radio station at 580 WDBO-AM in Orlando. He began Monday as the afternoon sports anchor and afternoon sports producer of the Scott Anez Show. The radio station flipped their format from news/talk to become the fourth sports radio station in the Orlando area. It has been the flagship station of the Orlando Magic since their inception in 1989.
Cassandra was an intern at ESPN Radio 760 WEFL-AM in West Palm Beach back in the mid-2000's. He also once worked in the media relations department at Roger Dean Stadium for the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals.
Cassandra joined 580 WDBO as an overnight traffic anchor in 2007. He would be promoted to a news reporter position at that station. He later added duties as a sports anchor and an afternoon producer for the Mel Robbins Show.
