Former local sports announcer Jim Grieshaber has been given a mixed martial arts Saturday show on Arizona Sports 620 KTAR-AM in Phoenix as of December 1. He has been hosting a weekly high school sports show on Saturdays called Arizona Sports Preps 365 at that same station. He currently works for aia365.com as a studio host.
Grieshaber had numerous stops while he was employed in South Florida before moving to Phoenix. He began at 850 WFTL-AM and 640 WJNA-AM as a producer, sports anchor and sports director. He then co-hosted a nationally syndicated afternoon show on Sports Byline USA with Marc Benarzyk in 2006.
Grieshaber held a Sunday night show on 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM for a short time followed by hosting an evening talk show on 1470 WWNN-AM in Boca Raton. He also was on television for several years as a reporter for the University of Miami Hurricanes weekly show on Comcast Sportsnet South.
