Cameron Maybin Retires

     Cameron Maybin announced his retirement on Monday. He wrapped up a 15-season Major League Baseball career. 
     Maybin had two stints in the Marlins organization. He was acquired by the Florida Marlins from the Detroit Tigers in an eight-player deal for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis in December 2007. Maybin was with the Fish for three seasons. His best year was in 2010 when he had eight home runs, 28 runs batted in and a .234 batting average in 82 games. 
     He returned to the Miami Marlins as a free agent in 2018. Maybin had a .251 batting average in 99 contests and was then traded to the Seattle Mariners.
