West Palm Beach Holiday Ratings 2021

West Palm Beach sports talk format radio stations received their ratings for the holiday period. The time span went from the second week of December until the first week of January.
ESPN West Palm 106.3 rolled out their new weekday schedule on January 3. Longtime afternoon host Evan Cohen announced his final show on December 22. He was given two five-minute segments prior to their midday show and following their afternoon drive program at the start of the year.
Ken LaVicka expanded his midday show and extra hour from noon to 2PM. He lost his on-air sidekick Chris Kokell from 2021 as he became the new head football coach at Fort Pierce Westwood. LaVicka implemented daily co-hosts which included WPTV-TV/WFLX-TV sports anchor Theo Dorsey on Mondays along with Tuesdays, former Evan Cohen Show sidekick Ginette Javier on Wednesdays, WPTV-TV/WFLX-TV sports anchor Keli Ferguson on Thursdays and former John I. Leonard/NFL wide receiver Pierre Garcon on Fridays.
Josh Cohen and The Hometeam shifted to one hour later for their two-hour show from 4PM to 5:55PM. It is hosted by Cohen along with Din Thomas and Kristina Costanza.
Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM rose from a 0.4 to a 0.8 in the period. It turned out to be their best ratings since they reached the plateau in November 2016. The highest ratings WMEN ever had was a 1.1 in December 2011. It was a general surprise considering that the Florida Panthers have been near the top of the National Hockey League standings. Florida Atlantic University basketball had a limited amount of games during the month.
Sports Radio 1230 The Zone WBZT-AM ended up with a 0.0 following two months at a 0.2. WBZT did have a 0.0 for nine consecutive months prior to that. The University of Florida Gators were involved in a bowl game and their basketball team had an average record.
