Chris Kokell Leaves ESPN West Palm Again

     Chris Kokell has left his on-air position at ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM. He is now the new head football coach of the Fort Pierce Westwood Panthers. He had head coaching stints previously with the St. John Paul II Eagles, Forest Hill Falcons and Olympic Heights Lions. 
     Kokell finished off his second stint with ESPN West Palm. He rejoined the organization in October 2020.and held the spot as the co-host of the Evan Cohen afternoon show. Kokell was elevated to on-air sidekick on the Ken LaVicka midday show in April 2021 and was there until the end of December 2021. He was also their high school football play-by-play announcer during the 2021 season. Kokell did announce Jensen Beach football games on the internet during 2020. 
     In his first stint with ESPN West Palm, he was a weekend co-host with Joe Colella during the mid 2010s. He was promoted to the evening co-host position in January 2017. He left that summer to become the defensive coordinator for the Jensen Beach Falcons. 
     He joined 640 WMEN-AM in June 2018 as a high school football website writer. He was promoted to Saturday late morning weekend host in July 2018. Kokell stayed with that radio station until October 2020.
