Raptors Outlast Heat

     The Miami Heat were defeated by the Toronto Raptors 124-120 in triple overtime on Saturday night at FTX Arena. It was the fourth time that the Miami Heat played a triple overtime game in franchise history. 
     Toronto(24-23) had a 28-27 edge at the end of the first quarter. The Raptors remained ahead at halftime 60-53. Miami(32-18) stayed with their opponent and were down 85-75 after three quarters. 
     The Heat scored the first eight points of the fourth quarter. They outscored the Raptors 25-15 in the final frame to bring it into overtime tied 100-100. Both teams scored five points in overtime and nine points each in double overtime. 
    The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler as he compiled a triple-double of 37 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Bam Adebayo had a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Gabe Vinent dropped in 17 points while Tyler Herro put in 13 points. 
     Gary Trent Jr. scored a club-high 33 points for the Raptors. Scottie Barnes was able to nail down 22 points. Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby both put together double-double for Toronto.
