Heat Hold Off Trail Blazers

     The Miami Heat beat the Portland Trail Blazers 104-92 on Wednesday night at FTX Arena. Both teams faced each other in Portland two weeks ago. The Heat have the best home record in the Eastern Conference at 15-5 this season. 
     Portland(18-27) had a 26-23 edge at the end of the first quarter. Miami(29-16) started the second quarter with a 16-5 spurt and had a 58-56 lead at halftime. The Trail Blazers were able to get up 80-78 after three quarters. The Heat went on a 17-5 run late in the fourth quarter and pulled away. 
     Caleb Martin had a team-high 26 points for Miami while Max Strus contributed 15 points. Bam Adebayo added 18 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Jimmy Butler was ejected with 2:28 left in the second and had four points along four assists in 15 minutes of play. Anfernee Simons led Portland with a game-high 27 points and seven assists.
