Chaminade-Madonna Wins National Title

High School Football America has named the Chaminade-Madonna Lions the top team in their final Top 25 list of small school football programs. The school has been given the title of national champions by that organization.
Chaminade-Madonna finished with a 12-1 record in 2021 under head coach Dameon Jones. The Lions won the FHSAA Class 3A state championship game as they shut out the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers 21-0.  Running back Davion Guise scored on two touchdown runs. It was their fourth state title in the last five seasons and sixth overall in school history.
The Lions made a trip to Las Vegas one week later for the GEICO State Championship Bowl Series. They defeated Highland, Arizona 35-21 at Bishop Gorman High School.
