The National Sports Media Association has named South Florida Sun-Sentinel NFL columnist Omar Kelly as the 2021 Florida Sportswriter of the Year. It is the first time he has received that award. Kelly continues with Miami Dolphins coverage for the newspaper.
Kelly continues to co-host a podcast with South Florida Sun-Sentinel sports columnist Dave Hyde. He also does an exclusive segment on The Big O Show podcast with Orlando Alzugaray. Kelly was a weekend co-host on 560 WQAM-AM with Miko Grimes in 2015.
