Warriors Hold Off Heat

     The Golden State Warriors defeated the Miami Heat 115-108 at Chase Center on Monday night. The Heat continued their road swing against Western Conference teams. The Warriors have the best record in the National Basketball Association.
     Golden State(29-7) started off with a 21-10 spurt and led 33-25 after one quarter. Miami(23-15) would cut it to 59-54 by halftime. The Warriors were up 89-82 at the end of three quarters. The Heat came as close as four points 108-104 with 4:23 left in the fourth quarter. 
     The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler with 22 points. Kyle Lowry got a double-double of 16 points and 11 assists while Caleb Martin added 19 points. Andrew Wiggins had 22 points for the Warriors. Jordan Poole contributed a game-high 32 points and Stephen Curry was held to a season-low nine points.
