Former Miami Marlins television voice Rich Waltz has exited as the backup television play-by-play announcer of the Los Angeles Angels. He replaced Darron Sutton for the position in July last year.
Waltz was the television play-by-play announcer for the Florida Marlins and then Miami Marlins from 2005 to 2017. He continues to announce college football and college basketball games nationally on television.
