Local Players Win CFP National Championship

     Several former South Florida high school football players captured the CFP National Championship on Monday night. The University of Georgia Bulldogs defeated the University of Alabama Crimson Tide 33-18 for the title in Indianapolis. 

     The Bulldogs had four players on their roster from the South Florida region. They included running back James Cook from Miami Central, running back Kenny McIntosh from University School. wide receiver Marcus Rosemy from St. Thomas Aquinas and defensive back Latavious Brini from Mater Academy.
