Panthers Win Road Opener

    The Florida Panthers began their 20th season in the National Hockey League on Thursday night with a 4-2 victory over the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center. It is the first game of a four-game trip for the Cats as they move on to St. Louis, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay. They will commemorate their 20th anniversary of the franchise as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins in their home opener on October 11 at BB&T Center.
