Hurricanes Lose ACC Championship To Clemson

     The Miami Hurricanes had a tough time and lost the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Game to the Clemson Tigers 38-3 on Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The Hurricanes won the Coastal Division this year and finally made an appearance in the ACC title game.
     Clemson(12-1) scored on their first possession at 10:39 of the first quarter. Travis Etienne brushed with a touchdown run for four yards away. Quarterback Kelly Bryant added another score on an 11-yard scramble at the 3:10 mark to make it 14-0.
     The Tigers get the only touchdown in the second quarter with 12:52 left. Running back Adam Choice rushed to the left side with a one-yard run.
     In the third quarter, Clemson compiled 17 points and expanded their margin to 38 points. Alex Spence kicked a 46-yard field goal at 12:52. Running back Tavien Feaster followed it with a run from 11 yards out with 3:22 to go. Bryant later connected a 27-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Deon Cain with 1:10 remaining in the third.
     Miami(10-2) broke the shutout with 3:33 left in the fourth quarter. Michael Badgley nailed a 22-yard field goal and gave the Hurricanes their only score of the contest.
