The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors made their annual appearance in Miami and they beat the Heat 123-95 at American Airlines Arena on Sunday night. The Heat have lost three of their last four games.
Miami(11-12) was ahead 36-33 after first quarter and trailed 62-60 at halftime. Golden State(18-6) went on a 20-6 run to begin the second half and led 99-77 after three quarters. The Warriors maintained their 20-point margin and outscored the Heat 24-18 in the fourth.
Stephen Curry was the leading scorer for the Warriors with 30 points while Kevin Durant compiled 24 points along with seven assists. Klay Thompson also added 19 points for Golden State. Goran Dragic had a team-high 20 points for the Heat and Kelly Olynyk dropped 14 points.
