The FHSAA football state championship games will not be broadcast on local television in the South Florida region for the fourth consecutive year. The eight state title games will be played from Thursday through Saturday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Spectrum Sports, formerly Bright House Sports Network, is based in Central Florida and has the exclusive television rights to the FHSAA football championship games since 2013. Local South Florida residents who can not watch the title games on their television can pay a fee to see the contests streamed on a computer at BoxCast.TV under Spectrum Sports.
One South Florida radio station will broadcast two FHSAA football championship games that are represented by Palm Beach County high schools. ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM will have Oxbridge Academy take on Chaminade-Madonna in the Class 3A state title game on Saturday morning and Atlantic will face Dr. Phillips in the Class 8A state title game on Saturday night. Chris Dietrich will be the play-by-play announcer and former Jupiter Christian head coach Bill Powers is the game analyst.
