Brewers Mix Marlins

     The Milwaukee Brewers handled the Miami Marlins 5-2 on Saturday at loanDepot park. The Marlins continued their homestand. 

     Miami(9-12) had a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Connor Norby singled up the middle for Liam Hicks to score.

     Milwaukee(12-8) evened it up 1-1 in the top of the fourth. Brandon Lockridge knocked in Luis Rengifo on a base hit into center field.

      The Brewers increased their lead in the middle of the contest to 5-1. They added two runs in the fifth inning and two runs in the sixth inning.

      The Marlins placed one run during the bottom of the ninth. Heriberto Hernandez grounded into a force out and Otto Lopez crossed the plate.
