Devils Fire Tom Fitzgerald

     The New Jersey Devils have fired general manager Tom Fitzgerald. He joined that organization as an assistant general manager in July 2015. Fitzgerald was elevated to general manager of the club in July 2020. 

     Fitzgerald was a center with the Florida Panthers during his playing days. He was with the Panthers from their inaugural season in 1993-94 until late in the 1997-98 campaign. Fitzgerald had 121 points in 353 games while with Florida.
