Heat Dump Wizards

     The Miami Heat knocked off the Washington Wizards 152-136 on Saturday at Kaseya Center. The Heat will not finish with a losing record during the 2025-26 regular season.They concluded a three-game homestand. 
     Miam(41-37) had a slight 36-32 advantage after one quarter. The Heat expanded their lead to 77-57 by halftime.
     Washington(17-60) fell even more behind and trailed 122-91 at the end of the third quarter. The Wizards outscored the Heat 45-30 during the meaningless final quarter.
      Jaime Jaquez Jr. finished with a game-high 32 points for the Heat. Kel'el Ware piled up a double-double of 24 points and 19 rebounds. Bam Adebayo ended up short of a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Andrew Wiggins poured in 21 and Pelle Larsson added 16 points.
       Will Riley scored a club- high 31 points for the Wizards. Sharife Cooper came off the bench with 20 points.
