Mark Jones Exiting ESPN

     Former Miami Heat television personality Mark Jones is finishing his tenure at ESPN. His final assignment with the company is expected to be play-by-play announcing of an NBA contest on Sunday. 
     Jones joined ESPN back in 1990 as a sports anchor coming from The Sports Network in Canada. He has worked as a play-by-play announcer on college football, college basketball, NBA, WNBA and UFL games. 
     He was the Miami Heat television studio host for three seasons from 2000-01 to 2002-03 on Sunshine Network, WBFS-TV Channel 33 and WFOR-TV Channel 4. Jones has been the television play-by-play announcer of the Sacramento Kings on NBC Sports California since the 2020-21 season.
