Cardinals Fly By Marlins

     The St. Louis Cardinals eased by the Miami Marlins 5-3 at loanDepot park on Tuesday night. The Marlins will finish their six-game homestand tomorrow. 
     Both clubs scored one run in the first inning. Jakob Marsee homered for the Fish in the bottom of the frame. St. Louis(14-9) put up one run in the third, two runs in the fourth and one run in the fifth for a 5-1 lead. Nathan Church cracked a two-run homer to right field on a 1-1 pitch during the fourth inning. 
     Miami(11-13) tried to cut the deficit late in the contest. The Marlins compiled two runs in the bottom of the eighth and trailed 5-3. Heriberto Hernandez singled into right field to score Liam Hicks and Javier Sanoja.
