Heat Wins Regular Season Finale

     The Miami Heat were victorious in their home finale 143-117 over the Atlanta Hawks at Kaseya Center on Sunday night. It was the final game for both teams during the 2025-26 regular season. 
     The Heat are the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. They will visit the ninth-seeded Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Play-In Tournament on Tuesday. 
     Miami(43-39) raced out to a 33-24 lead by the conclusion of the first quarter. Atlanta(46-36) kept up with the pace during the second quarter and trailed 66-57 at halftime. 
     The Heat increased their lead to 95-80 at the end of the third quarter. They outscored the Hawks 44-33 in the final quarter. 
     Bam Adebayo composed a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds for Miami. Jaime Jaquez Jr. finished with a team-high 26 points while Norman Powell drained in 25 points. Kel'el Ware provided 16 points and seven rebounds in the win. 
     Atlanta was led by Buddy Hield who scored a game-high 31 points coming off the bench. Asa Newell ended up with 17 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Corey Kispert was able to contribute 21 points.
