Miami Ratings March 2026

     Ratings were released for sports talk format radio stations in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale region. The time span went from the first week in March to the first week in April. 

     104.3 Sports WQAM-FM shifted from a 1.0 to a 0.8 in the month. WQAM became the new radio flagship station of the Miami Marlins in late March. The Fish began the 2026 regular season with an impressive 5-1. It was just the sixth time in franchise history that the Marlins won five of their first six games to start a campaign. The Florida Panthers were on brink to end their two-time Stanley Cup championship run and not reach the postseason. The Miami Heat had a 40-37 record and had already clinched an NBA Play-In Tournament spot. 

     Fox Sports 940 WINZ-AM stayed at a a 0.3 in the period. The radio station lost the radio rights to Miami Marlins. The University of Florida Gators men's basketball team lost in the SEC Tournament semifinals to Vanderbilt and were eliminated in the second round of the NCAA Tournament by Iowa. The WINZ stream on WZTU-FM-HD2 was at a 0.1 for the third consecutive time. 

     Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM remained at a 0.1 for the second straight month. The Florida Atlantic University Owls men's basketball team finished with an 18-16 record and were knocked out in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament by Tulane. FAU played in the NIT Tournament and fell in the first round at home to Dayton.
