Heat Can Wizards In Road Finale

     The Miami Heat whipped the Washington Wizards 140-117 at Capital One Center on Friday night. It was the final regular season road game for the Heat in 2025-26. Miami will participate in their home finale on Sunday versus the Atlanta Hawks. 
     The Heat finished a winning record this season with the victory tonight. They completed a three-game road swing. 
     Miami(42-39) had a 34-23 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Heat extended their lead to 72-52 by halftime. 
     Washington(17-64) was still down by 20 points 105-85 after three quarters. Both teams put in their reserve players midway in the fourth quarter.
     Bam Adebayo ended up with a double-double of 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Jaime Jaquez Jr. drained in 23 points while Simone Fontecchio powered in 24 points. 
     The Wizards were led by Bub Carrington with a game-high 30 points. Bilal Coulibaly was able to score 25 points.
