Miami(55-60) responded in the bottom of the frame. Marcell Ozuna grounded out to short for Christian Yelich to score and tie the game 1-1.
The Marlins pulled away from their opponent in the fourth inning. Giancarlo Stanton blasted a three-run homer to left field on a 1-1 pitch for his 41st home run of the year. Miguel Rojas and Dee Gordon scored in front of him on the play.
