Miami FC blanked Puerto Rico FC 2-0 on Saturday at Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel. It was a battle for first place in the NASL Fall Season standings as Miami FC moved ahead to 12 points.
Jaime Chavez helped Miami FC go ahead 1-0 in the 34th minute. It was his third goal in the last three games. Ariel Martinez would finish off the contest in injury time during the 90th minute with a tally into an open net.
