The NBA released the Miami Heat 2017-18 schedule. It will be the 30th season for the franchise in the league. It is the earliest that an NBA season will begin in 37 seasons.
The Heat will start the regular season on the road against the Orlando Magic on October 18. Miami will return and play their home opener at American Airlines Arena on October 21 against the Indiana Pacers.
The NBA world champion Golden State Warriors make their only appearance in South Florida on December 3. The Heat will not be playing on Christmas Day for the second straight season.
Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls show up in Miami on November 1 and March 29. LeBron James and Cleveland Cavaliers make their lone appearance at American Airlines Arena on March 27.
