Miami FC was eliminated from the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as they were defeated by FC Cincinnati 1-0 in a quarterfinal match at Riccardo Silva Stadium on Wednesday night. The only goal of the contest was by Dijby of FC Cincinnati during the 68th minute.
It has been a tough week for the 2017 NASL Spring Season champion Miami FC. They played their opening game of the NASL Fall Season and lost to the New York Cosmos 3-1 in Brooklyn on Saturday.
