Former Miami radio sportscaster David Schultz has joined WNSP-FM in Mobile, Alabama as a program director and afternoon co-host. He will begin those positions on August 12.
Schultz worked from 2009 to 2011 as the Florida Marlins reporter, Florida Panthers reporter, sports anchor and fill-in host for Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM. He was a baseball play-by-play announcer with the Syracuse Chiefs, Harrisburg Senators, Somerset Patriots, Jacksonville Suns and Peoria Chiefs prior to his arrival in South Florida.
After two years away from broadcasting, he landed at KLWB-FM in Lafayette, Louisiana in September 2013 as a morning host and program director. The program was later simulcasted on KXKW-TV. Schultz left both positions in March 2019.
