Former local sportswriter Jason Leiser is now the Chicago Bears beat writer for the Chicago Sun-Times. He joined that newspaper in December 2018 to cover the Chicago Blackhawks.
Leiser previously wrote for the Palm Beach Post. He started as a high school sports writer in 2006, moved to Gainesville to become the University of Florida athletics beat reporter and returned to South Florida as the Miami Dolphins beat writer until late 2018.
