Former Miami Dolphins center Jim Langer passed away on Thursday at the age of 71. He was voted All-Pro six times during his NFL career and elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987. He played with the Dolphins from 1970 until 1979 and was named to the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team.
Langer helped the Dolphins capture consecutive Super Bowl titles. They topped the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl VII to become the only undefeated football team in NFL history. The Fins beat the Minnesota the following year in Super Bowl VIII.
