The Palm Beach Central Broncos challenge the Dwyer Panthers at Blum Stadium in Palm Beach Gardens on Thursday night. Both schools look to contend for playoff spots in their classifications.
Palm Beach Central(0-1) was held scoreless in the first half over their past two games at home. They lost to the Miami Northwestern Bulls 36-6 in a kickoff classic and fell to the Atlantic Eagles 40-13 in the season opener. The Broncos will try to got on the scoreboard first in this contest with their offense led by quarterback Anarjahe Douriet and wide receiver Bryan Robinson.
Dwyer(1-0) has seen a tremendous turnover on the roster through graduation and player transfers. In addition, Jack Daniels is no longer the head coach of the football program after 23 years and McKinley Rolle took over. The Panthers do have some weapons on offense that include wide receiver Austin Thompson and running back Fredrick Gauberg. They did win their home opener over the Boynton Beach Tigers 35-19 last week.
