The Colorado Rockies pushed by the Miami Marlins 3-0 at Coors Field on Friday night. It was unusual that it was a low-scoring game in a ballpark that is known for a ton of scoring.
Colorado(55-67) put up two runs in the second inning. Ryan McMahon blasted a two-run homer to right-center field on a 1-0 pitch with Raimel Tapia aboard.
In the bottom of the eighth, Miami(45-76) surrendered another run. Nolan Arenado connected with a solo home run to center field on a 2-0 count.
