Brandon Leibrandt Signs With Marlins

     Minor league pitcher Brandon Leibrandt has signed a deal with the Miami Marlins. He will be placed in the Marlins 60-player pool and be eligible to be called up to the majors during the 2020 regular season. 

     Leibrandt recently played in the Somerset Professional Baseball Series in New Jersey. There\ are a bunch of weekend games for the past several weeks between the New Jersey Blasters and the Somerset Patriots. Leibrandt last played in 2018 with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, who are the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, and had a 4-1 record with a 1.42 earned-run-average in 20 games.
