Former Miami sports talk radio host C.J. Silas is in San Luis Obispo. She hosts a Wednesday afternoon sports show on KXTK-AM. Silas, a Syracuse University grad, has been the baseball public address announcer of Cal Poly Tech home games for the last couple of years.
Silas first started at ESPN as the Sunday Night Baseball producer and Jim Rome Show producer on ESPN2. She then joined KJR-AM in Seattle as a sports talk host. Silas landed at 560 WQAM-AM in Miami as a weekend host and fill-in host. She then was at CBS Sportsline.com in Fort Lauderdale as an evening host.
She went back to Seattle as a weekend host on KJR-AM and morning co-host at KJR-FM. Silas later went on the national airwaves as an afternoon co-host on Fox Sports Radio and fill-in host at ESPN Radio.
