Dale Tallon Gone As Panthers General Manager

Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon is no longer with the organization. His contract with the club expired at the completion of their 2019-20 season. The Panthers were eliminated by the New York Islanders on Friday in a best-of-five Stanley Cup Qualifier Series in Toronto.
Tallon was the general manager of the team for the past 10 seasons. He helped the club win a Southeast Division title in 2011-12 and an Atlantic Division title in 2015-16. The team reached the Stanley Cup Playoffs three times which included this season.
Prior to the Panthers, Tallon worked with the Chicago Blackhawks as their general manager in the 2000s. Many of his draft selections ended up winning three Stanley Cup championships in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
