The Carolina Panthers have waived running back Jordan Scarlett. He played in nine games for that club last season and had four carries for nine yards.
Scarlett played his senior year of high school football with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders and helped the school win the FHSAA Class 7A state championship in 2014. He attended the University of Florida and was with the Gators for four seasons.
