Austin Allen Signs With Marlins

     The Miami Marlins have inked catcher Austin Allen to a minor league contract. He will be invited to spring training camp in Jupiter and try to make the major league roster. 

     Allen has played his four-year Major League Baseball career with the San Diego Padres and Oakland A's. He has compiled two home runs with seven runs batted in and a .195 batting average in 57 games during four seasons in the majors.
