Lightning Cover Panthers

     The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 at Amalie Arena on Saturday night. It was the Panthers only road game in a five-game stretch. 
     Tampa Bay(17-9-1) scored the only goal during the first period at the 8:40 mark. Pat Maroon collected his first tally of the 2022-23 campaign. 
     Florida(13-11-4) was able to even it up 1-1 at 6:02 of the second period. Zac Dalpe picked up his second goal of the year on assists from Josh Mahura and Eric Staal. It was Staal's fourth assist with his new club. 
     In the third period, the Bolts pulled away from the Panthers for the win. Brayden Point added his 14th goal at the 3:03 mark while Mikhail Sergachev chalked up his fifth goal at 7:22. Steven Stamkos capped it with his 15th goal of the season and 496th NHL goal with 3:15 remaining.
