Pitching coach Mel Stottelmyre Jr., bullpen coach Wellington Cepeda and bullpen assistant Rob Flippo remained from the staff under former manager Don Mattingly in 2022. New to the Marlins coaching staff are first base/outfield coach Jon Jay, batting coach Brant Brown, assistant batting coach John Mabry, field coordinator Rod Barajas, bench coach Luis Urueta, third base/infield coach Jody Reed and quality assurance coach Griffin Benedict. Mabry played 82 games with the Marlins franchise back in 2001.
